Carluccio’s adds 5 more sites to £10m revamp scheme

Carluccio’s is expanding its £10m ‘Fresca’ revitalisation programme with the announcement that the group plans to refresh at least five more sites over the coming months.

Following the successful Fresca pilot at Richmond earlier this year (pictured), Carluccio’s at Heathrow Terminal 5 and at Bluewater shopping centre are set to undergo a major transformation, completing mid-June, with a total investment of £500K.

The injection of new funding will see the guest experience elevated at Heathrow T5 and Bluewater through enhanced design, food and service, underpinned by the late Antonio Carluccio’s brand ethos of ‘minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour.’

Carluccio’s will be investing in 20 new roles over these two sites to help support the Fresca transformation.

Carluccio’s CEO, Mark Jones commented, “The success of our Richmond pilot and the start of our Fresca rollout is an important milestone for the Carluccio’s business.

'With a new focus on recruiting, training and developing teams and a clear plan to re-assert and build on our credentials as the UK’s leading Italian restaurant group, we are in a great place to drive the business forward.”
