Andy Murray’s Wimbledon win in 2013 topped the poll as greatest ever British Sporting moment, the multi gold winning Athletics Team GB from 2012 won best ever British team, Queen was voted the best ever British band, Four Weddings and Funeral won Best ever British film! Windsor Castle was voted the UK’s favourite castle, and the country’s favourite International dishes (excluding fish and chips) come from Italy.

Martyn Davis, Harry Ramsden Head of Brand, said, “ We’re thrilled so many people took part in our poll, and especially delighted that different generations of fans took part proving again just how much Harry Ramsden’s world class fish and chips appeal to all age groups.

'We were quite surprised with the results in one or two categories though, as The Beatles and Geoff Hurst’s winning World Cup goal were way out in front in the early stages.”
