Costa Coffee rolls out mobile ordering service nationwide

Following a successful London-based trial, the nation’s favourite coffee shop, Costa Coffee, has extended its mobile ordering service to over 500 participating stores, providing coffee fans across the country with the option to pre-order their favourite handcrafted coffee for collection.

Since launching the service in December 2018 to an initial 111 London-based stores, Costa Coffee has expanded the service to 400 additional locations across the country.

From Newquay to Newcastle, the expansion enables coffee lovers across the UK to beat the queues at the touch of a button, by pre-ordering their favourite Costa Coffee expertly handcrafted coffee to pick up in store.

The mobile ordering service is available through the free Costa Coffee Club app. With the majority of orders made between 7-9am on Monday to Friday, the service is perfect for busy, on-the-go coffee lovers to get their favourite handcrafted Costa Coffee without having to queue and collect points with every purchase.

Every customer using Mobile Order for the first time will earn enough coffee club points to get themselves a free coffee, so there’s no excuse to not give it a try.

The mobile ordering service allows users to identify their nearest participating store and order any number of drinks from Costa Coffee’s barista-made menu, with size, milk type and added extras all easy to select.

To further optimise the experience, the app also allows customers the choice to easily re-order their favourite time and time again – meaning you can have your coffee ready and waiting quicker than you can say, “Massimo-extra hot-extra shot-americano-with a splash of soya milk”.

Unlike similar services on the high street, payment can be made through the Costa Coffee Club app using credit and debit card details, uploaded to the app****, so no pre-paying or topping up. Digital VAT receipts can also be sent via multiple channels to easily track coffee-related spending.
