New Forest hotel scoops double win at AA Hospitality Awards


The Montagu Arms, a countryside hotel in Beaulieu, New Forest, has scooped a double award win at the 2019 AA Hospitality Awards, celebrated last night (23 September) at the Marriott Grosvenor House London.

Awarded through inspectors’ choice, The Montagu Arms has achieved the coveted accolade of four AA Red Stars, marking it as one of the finest examples of a four-star hotel in the UK and Ireland. Red Star status is bestowed to hotels that excel in all areas, offering outstanding levels of quality, service and hospitality.

Alongside this impressive achievement, the fine-dining Terrace Restaurant at The Montagu Arms, led by new Head Chef Matthew Whitfield, has been awarded three AA Rosettes. The three AA Rosette rating is given to outstanding restaurants that ‘demand recognition well beyond their local area’, and that demonstrate excellence in timing, seasoning and judgement of flavour combinations.
