Crown Partnership set to expand in predicted bumper new year

Crown Partnership, the catering, hospitality, retail and event services provider, is looking forward with plans to focus more on flexible investment, rapid expansion and taking on new companies within the Partnership in 2020.

Charles Beer, Senior Partner said, “I am proud that after four decades, the Partnership is still an active player in an ever expanding and competitive marketplace. Looking ahead next year I believe that turnover can increase by 50% and that 2020 will be the best year that the Partnership has seen for forty years.

On the back of workplace caterer, Dayer’s already expanding by eight new sites this year, we have a pending food service delivery acquisition in the pipeline which we plan to invest £5m in over the next three years.

'And with our recent acquisition, out of administration, of Bird, we are already opening our first ever site in Brixton’s Electric Avenue for London’s original fried chicken and waffles joint. The Bird team plans to open as many as three further sites in 2020 with a further four sites expected in 2021.

Beer continued, “2020 is looking positive for the Partnership and we are looking forward to taking on new food-led companies that are seeking to expand and grow and we are hoping to employ up to 300 new staff.

'Besides all the normal business problems that the new decade will bring, including increases in the National Minimum Wage, possible staff shortages because of the new regulations and the costs and efforts we are putting into sustainability in recycling, we still see 2020 as being a bumper year and our budgets are showing a 50% growth in total across all our partner businesses.

'We also have a very strong ethos to our environmental responsibility and will be planting over 700 trees in 2020 across our Portuguese properties to offset some of our carbon footprint.

'We are also joining with The Woodland Trust to encourage our customers through their system to plant trees in the UK. The whole team in the Partnership is very excited about next year”.
