BBC programme highlights Clipper lead on biodegradable tea bags

War on Plastic with Hugh and Anita, that aired on BBC1 this week, has a focus on plastic in tea bags. Clipper was highlighted as taking the industry lead on this important issue.

Clipper's switch to plant-based and biodegradable tea bags has made it the most ethical and sustainable major tea brand in the country.

There has been much activity from when the program aired on social media and overnight with 60.4% of surveyed looking to switch.

Moving to Clipper means not only helping the environment, but there are also so many other great credentials Clipper is renowned for. 100% traded Fairtrade, B Corp, non GMO, unbleached tea bags, made in the UK, and organic.

All of the enveloped string and tag tea bags are also housed in recyclable envelopes, and all pack cartons are recyclable and biodegradable.
