The masters of mixology have landed, as long-awaited The Alchemist has finally arrived at The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham, creating 40 new jobs.
The theatrical bar come restaurant has opened its doors after having to put the project on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With sites in London, Oxford, Birmingham and Nottingham to name just a few, The Alchemist serves up fanciful smoking cocktails and experimental food dishes, and is known for its stylish, steampunk-luxe decor.
Nikki Kontarines, Asset Manager at The Brewery Quarter, Cheltenham said, ‘We’re delighted to welcome The Alchemist to our tenant portfolio, they’re a great fit for the leisure and lifestyle mix that we’re creating here at The Brewery Quarter, sitting along perfectly with our venues such as The Botanist and Cosy Club.

The Brewery Quarter opened in 2006 and began predominantly as a leisure destination. It now includes Cineworld Cinemas with IMAX, 4DX and ViP, DW Fitness, Lost World Golf, Hollywood Bowl and a dozen restaurants and bars including The Botanist, The Cosy Club, Brewhouse & Kitchen, Son of Steak, Five Guys, Nando’s and Prezzo.
