Searcys set to benefit from TheFork & SevenRooms partnership

SevenRooms, a guest experience and retention platform for the hospitality industry, and TheFork, the online restaurant reservations platform from Tripadvisor Media Group, have announced that leading British restaurateur and events catering company, Searcys will be one of the UK’s inaugural hospitality operators to benefit from their recent industry partnership.

Integrating TheFork and SevenRooms’ solutions will enable Searcys’ venues to increase the operator’s online reservations and offer seamless management of its front of house and guest experiences.

Searcys will benefit from the roll out of the technology borne out of the partnership across its collection of iconic UK restaurants and bars. This prestigious group includes Helix and Iris Bar at the Gherkin and St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar.

The cutting-edge tools that the SevenRooms and TheFork partnership brings will help develop stronger guest relationships, fill seats, acquire new customers and deliver exceptional on-premise experiences that prompt visitors to become repeat customers.

This comprises access to the full use of SevenRooms’ data-driven venue management and marketing automation platform as well as being able to tap into TheFork’s extensive consumer reservation network of millions of diners.

Anna Fenten, Marketing Director at Searcys, said, “Our extensive heritage and strong name in the hospitality industry is borne out of our long-standing focus on creating exquisite and memorable experiences for our guests. Achieving this has always required a clear understanding of what visitors to our venues expect and then exceeding that with the most innovative approaches in hospitality.

'Being one of the UK’s first operators to benefit from the innovative partnership between SevenRooms and TheFork is another example of how we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the industry and exploring the best ways to ensure a seamless, outstanding guest experience.”

Patrick Hooykaas, Regional Director, TheFork, said, “Our partnership with SevenRooms was set up with the intent of helping operators like Searcys. In recent years, the restaurant industry has undergone a huge evolution, with restaurants requiring even more advanced tools to address complex operational challenges.

'Searcys’ competitive advantage lies now in the opportunities in front of them by embracing the digital services and platforms TheFork and SevenRooms mutually present.

'They will be one of the first operators to concurrently make use of TheFork’s expansive diner base and yield management capabilities alongside the data driven venue management and marketing automation capabilities the SevenRooms platform has to offer.”

Danilo Mangano, Europe General Manager at SevenRooms, said, “We’re delighted that Searcys has adopted the technology we have to offer, giving them the flexibility they need to run complex operations while allowing their team to focus on the high-touch hospitality they do best.

'It is a testament to their brand promise to continuously innovate the customer experience, without compromising on the well-respected heritage of their company. We are enabling Searcys venues to connect directly with diners through the booking channels they care about most – in a way that only our open and connected front-of-house technology can offer hospitality operators.

'Having access to the services offered by TheFork right alongside this will extenuate the opportunity to take more bookings and drive more revenue for their business in a period of recovery for the industry.”
