Bullards Spirits – the multi award-winning dry gin brand, hand-made in small batches –is set to open a third London gin shop and tasting room by the end of this year.
Bullard’s opened its first London gin shop and tasting room, a 430 sq ft site in Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush, W12, 11 weeks ago. This has been followed by a 205 sq ft site in Canary Wharf, which opened a week ago in Cabot Square, E14.
This will now be followed by a 998 sq ft flagship site in Covent Garden. This is a joint venture with premium Double Dutch mixers and will comprise a ground floor shop and an additional upstairs tasting and mixology room.
The bricks and mortar sites will allow guests to learn about the history of Bullards and discover the range of luxury gins in an expertly curated full sensory experience, offered free to all visitors, led by talented brand ambassadors.
With customers seeking premium gin brands with unique stories, the number of UK distilleries drastically increased in the past decade; from around 160 in 2013 to over 440 in 2020 (The Drinks Business).
Adapting to the B2C market during the height of the pandemic, Bullards have been particularly innovative in this area with its sustainable offering, introducing Eco-Refill pouches and bottles for life.
