State-of-the-art care home, Greenan Manor, operated by Scottish care home provider, Meallmore, has been officially opened by Siobhian Brown MSP.
Greenan Manor provides excellent standards of care for its residents, including those living with dementia. It has been expertly designed and features 52 fully furnished ensuite bedrooms.
The spacious dining areas provide an excellent area for residents to enjoy healthy and tasty meals. It also has a private dining room that can be booked to provide a more intimate dining experience with family and friends.
The importance of good nutrition is paramount and the highly skilled catering team prepares high quality nutritious meals for all dietary requirements.
With indoor and outdoor cafe areas, the home offers elegant socialising spaces to enjoy refreshments and snacks with friends and family at all times of year.
Greenan Manor is led by care home manager and experienced nurse, Elaine Hughes, who is well established in the care industry with over a decade of experience.
Hughes commented, “2021 has been a challenging year for everyone. We opened our doors back in January but we were unable to mark the occasion due to government lockdown restrictions. Fast-forward nearly a year later and we are incredibly grateful to have celebrated our belated opening.
“The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our home to the local community. It was a great day, and we would like to extend our thanks to Siobhian Brown MSP for officially opening the home.”
Brown added, “The official opening of Greenan Manor was a fantastic event, celebrating the vital service the care home provides to the local community in Ayr. Everyone should feel immensely proud of all their hard work over the past year, and I am honoured to have played a part in the official opening of the home.”
