Restaurant Associates becomes caterer at new Games of Thrones Studio Tour


Premium hospitality company, Restaurant Associates (part of Compass Group UK&I), has just announced it is the official catering partner at the new Game of Thrones Studio Tour at Linen Mill Studios, Banbridge.

Having recently opened, Restaurant Associates is providing bespoke hospitality at the new Lobby Café and Studio Café alongside delivering unique events and exceptional experiences throughout Linen Mill Studios, one of the key studio spaces where Game of Thrones was filmed.

This world-class family-friendly visitor attraction is welcoming visitors into the Seven Kingdoms and beyond to explore the making of all eight seasons of HBO’s global hit series. With original show sets, costumes, weapons and props together with incredible interactive experiences, fans and visitors alike have the opportunity to peek behind the scenes of this authentic TV Studio and relive some of the most memorable scenes from the show.

Keeping the core ethos of Restaurant Associates front of mind, the menus showcase locally sourced ingredients and sustainable options across the two dining spaces. Following the launch of the Studio Tour events offer this Spring, Restaurant Associates are overseeing conferences, incentive and special events.

The Lobby Café, located at the entrance to Linen Mill Studios, offers the perfect stop to power up ahead of a tour of the studios and will feature a menu of barista made beverages, handmade cakes, tempting treats and lighter eats to enjoy on the go.

Over at the Studio Café, the backstage restaurant will be positioned at the center of the tour making it the ideal place to relax and recharge.

The menu will feature a selection of dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Guests are welcomed to dine from morning for a hearty full Northern Irish breakfast which can be made vegan or sit down for firm favourites such as Ale Batter Fish and Chips to plant-based dishes such as Grilled Mushroom & Roasted Onion Burger with beetroot relish.

A children’s menu made up of mini versions of the main menu ensures everyone is catered for. For something sweet before resuming the tour, guests can indulge on homemade desserts such as spiced chocolate pudding with iced blueberries and sweet cream, lemon cake with whipped cream or a selection of homemade ice creams such as sea salted, raspberry ripple and honeycomb & chocolate flavours.

A wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks will also be available, and guests can download the app to see the most up to date menus.
