Upmarket catering company Peyton and Byrne, is celebrating winning the contract to run catering across Brighton’s Royal Pavilion & Museums and at Brighton Dome. The sites include the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Museum, Hove Museum and Brighton Dome’s Concert Hall, Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre. Peyton & Byrne will take charge of the new deal in March.
It is believed that initially 22 companies were interested in the contract, of which nine were then invited to express their ideas. Bidders were expected to show how they would incorporate local suppliers and seasonal produce into their plans along with effective ways to manage waste, minimise packaging and reduce energy consumption.
According to restaurenteur owner Oliver Peyton, the company is looking forward to flying the flag for quality British food in this creative and dynamic area.
