New family private members club reveals restaurant & cafe details ahead of opening


The Little Houses Group is all set to launch its first venue, Jaego’s House, a new kind of family private menber's club that will open in the heart of Kensal Rise on 26 September.

As part of this new concept, Jaego’s House will deliver a a waterside cafe and restaurant offering all-day dining for the whole family.

The restaurant, seating 85 inside and 24 on the ground floor canalside terrace, will offer three expertly curated menus including a kids menu, grown up menu and ‘one-handed’ menu for members and walk-in guests to enjoy.

Alexander Militsopoulos, Head Chef at Jaego’s House, has over 15 years of experience within the restaurant industry. Having trained with the likes of Michelin Starred Chef, and Jaego’s House member, Ollie Dabbous, Militsopoulos will bring his invaluable expertise to Jaego’s House to create fresh, healthy and seasonal dishes for the whole family.

Menu highlights for adults will include baked eggs with butter beans, chorizo and chard, courgette and mint fritters with herb labne and baked king prawns with garlic, lemon and parsley.

Grab-and-go options will also be available including a variety of baguettes and quick bites. On the kids menu, the little ones will be able to enjoy coconut milk porridge with a choice of toppings, egg and soldiers and chicken and pumpkin seed “satay”.

The restaurant team have also curated a one-handed menu for those breastfeeding or handling children, allowing guests the ability to eat with ease.

Menu items will include San Daniele ham, seasonal mushrooms, artichokes and lemon thyme pizza, watermelon, cucumber, mint, feta and black olive salad and Jersey milk rice pudding ripple with late summer berries and roast peaches.

A milk bar will feature on the ground floor where guests can purchase ready made formula bottles, store milk and heat up bottles. In the soft play area, parents will also be able to enjoy a glass of wine from the on site wine dispenser.

Alexander Militsopoulos, Head Chef at Jaego’s House, explained, “We wanted to create fuss-free healthy food for the whole family to enjoy. I sense the restaurant will be the real hub of Jaego’s House and I want members and walk-in guests to be able to drop in for a coffee, a quick bite or a sit down lunch – with the whole family.

'We have spent a lot of time creating a menu that really caters for all, and I cannot wait for members to try it.”

Further facilities at Jaego’s House will include soft play and Jungle Gym, a crèche, kids club, a kids’ cinema, gym, co-work, treatment rooms and an extensive wellness offering. The club is set to be a place where children can let off steam, make friends and have fun. Whilst the children are being looked after, parents will be able to enjoy precious time to themselves.

Spanning more than 20,000 sq ft, Jaego’s House and Kensal House Nursery will be a community hub and truly accessible to all. As well as annual memberships, there will also be an affordable ‘pay and play’ option for families to enjoy Jaego’s House without making a long-term commitment.

The company has another venue planned, Jesse's House, set to open in west London's Pasrson's Green next year.
