Zia Lucia appoints new MD


Zia Lucia has announced the appointment of Colin Doyle as Managing Director.
Before joining Zia Lucia, Doyle was Operations Director and interim Managing Director at The Breakfast Club, spending nine years there helping to expand the group from five sites to thirteen.

Prior to joining The Breakfast Club, Doyle was with the Hard Rock Café group for thirteen years, first as General Manager at Hard Rock Café in the Bahamas before being promoted to Caribbean Regional Operations Manager. His first role within the industry was at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, where he was Group Bars Manager at its Heathrow hotel.

Having spent his whole career in the hospitality industry, Doyle will bring an extensive knowledge of running both large global enterprises and independent family run restaurant groups to the burgeoning Zia Lucia portfolio.

Joining founders Gianluca D’Angelo and Claudio Vescovo, Doyle will oversee the development of the senior management team and the growth of the brand. With previous experience successfully growing a group, Doyle’s appointment comes at pertinent time for Zia Lucia, as the founders set sights on expanding within London and across the UK.
