Four Hundred Rabbits to open in Battersea Rise

South London sourdough pizza specialist Four Hundred Rabbits is launching its latest branch in Battersea Rise. The new 55-cover venue is set to welcome guests from mid-July.

The new Battersea Rise site will offer its very own ‘hutch-made’ seasonal gelato and sorbets – think organic milk, Alphonso mango, and salted caramel and peanut, alongside craft beer from local breweries, natural wines and cocktails including – the famed frozen margaritas and real fruit slushies.

Signature sourdough pizzas will include The Feta, with mozzarella, courgette, feta, salsa verge and toasted pine nuts; The Chorizo, Brindisa Iberico chorizo, pickled red chillies, fresh basil, tomato and mozzarella; and The Rhubarb, with chipotle rolled goat's cheese, piquillo peppers, tomato, mozzarella and rhubarb.

The menu will also host the brand's South London Session series featuring collaborations with local collectives.

Founded by brother duo Daniel and Duncan Edwards, Four Hundred Rabbits’ stellar reputation comes from its use of quality topping ingredients and 100% sourdough bases. Certified by the real bread campaign, the pizzas contain no yeast and involve a fermentation process that takes three days or more. This means easy digestion and a crust that is both fluffy and crispy, providing a tangy bite.
