Ingrid Chen appointed to new brand strategy and marketing role at Rosewood Hotel Group

Ingrid Chen has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president of brand strategy and marketing at the Rosewood Hotel Group.

In a recent development at the Rosewood Hotel Group, Ingrid Chen has been named as the Vice President of Brand Strategy and Marketing, a newly established position within the organization. The announcement was made on August 17, 2023, by Jungmin Seo.

Based at the Rosewood's headquarters in Hong Kong, Ingrid Chen will be responsible for overseeing brand strategy and marketing efforts. She will report directly to Joanna Gunn, the Chief Brand Officer of the group. With almost two decades of experience in marketing, brand management, and business development, Chen has held esteemed leadership roles at renowned companies like Joyce, Saint Laurent, and Ralph Lauren.

Her most recent role before joining Rosewood was as the Sales and Marketing Director at Dyson, a Singapore-based technology company. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategy, equity, and sales management.

Joanna Gunn, Chief Brand Officer, expressed her anticipation to collaborate with Ingrid Chen, acknowledging her leadership qualities and extensive industry expertise. It is believed that Chen's contribution will significantly impact the global strategy and expansion plans of Rosewood Hotel Group across its diverse portfolio of brands.

This appointment closely follows another significant addition to the Rosewood leadership team, with Joerg Zobel being named the Chief Operating Officer earlier in the same month.

As a prominent player in the hospitality industry, Rosewood Hotel Group operates a network of 46 hotels, resorts, and private members' clubs. Additionally, the company has 38 projects in various stages of development. Notably, one of the upcoming projects is the Chancery Rosewood in London, which is now slated to open its doors in 2025.
