Event Caterer Seasoned awarded supplier status at Leeds Castle

London event caterer Seasoned has been awarded approved supplier status at Leeds Castle following a formal tender process.

Colin Sayers, managing partner of Seasoned, said of the award: “Leeds Castle is an exceptional location and venue so we are thrilled to be beginning this brand-new relationship with them. This is the first time that Leeds Castle have gone to an approved catering supplier list, and this demonstrates our ability to hand-pick the most exciting opportunities along with our desire to partner with an exclusive collection of amazing venues. We are very proud to now be a catering partner and to develop the experience of those coming to Leeds Castle to surprise and delight the guests.”

While most castles are military and defensive in nature, Leeds, throughout her 900-year history, has been used as a luxurious retreat, a place for entertainment, feasting and relaxation. It has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house, a Georgian mansion; an elegant 20th century retreat for the influential and famous; and in the 21st century it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain.

Nicky Pratt, business development director of Seasoned added: “We will be focusing on creating extraordinary event catering experiences at Leeds Castle that reflect the exceptional surroundings and the glamour and luxury of the venue. We will also be ensuring our events are, delivered, planned and managed as sustainably as possible. We will continue to encourage our clients to make positive change and calculate the emissions from their event and we will work together with our clients to reduce the carbon footprint of the event and offset the emissions through the Woodland Trust.”
