Arora Hotels to open at The O2 in London


Arora Hotels, who runs 7 hotels in London, is set to open its eighth hotel at The O2 in London.

Chief executive Surinder Arora confirmed the opening yesterday and said that the group will open the 452-bedroom hotel which features a 3000sq m ballroom in 2015. The hotel will be operated under the Intercontinentals Crowne Plaza brand.

Founded in 1999, Arora Hotels owns and manages seven hotels, including Arora hotels in Crawley, Heathrow and Manchester and opened the first Sofitel in the UK under franchise at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 in 2008. The development division of the company has also secured agreements to design and build four budget hotels at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.
