Curzon Cinemas opens seventh site

Curzon Cinemas yesterday opened its 7th cinema, in North Street, Ripon, with a restaurant, bar and café.

Having not had a cinema in the town since 1982, the new two-screen Curzon cinema is expected to be very popular. It will also offer private hire, special events and promises more live events from the National Theatre as well as Met Opera.

Philip Knatchbull, CEO of Curzon World, said: “Ripon is a beautiful cathedral city and Curzon Cinemas couldn’t be more pleased to be opening a new cinema for the local community.

“We will programme a variety of the best new film releases alongside a vibrant restaurant, café and bar that we hope will become a regular destination for a discerning audience.”
