Gibson Hall, a Kudos venue in the heart of the City of London, has reported a 20% rise in confirmed bookings for the first half of the year, along with a 13% increase in booking value.
It has also seen a trend back towards old fashioned summer parties, whereas last year many clients opted for smaller drinks receptions, again reinforcing the return to confidence within the hospitality and events sector.
Additionally, the Grade I listed building, with its garden, adjoining patio and terrace area, is now in a unique position of being the only venue in the City of London legally permitted to conduct wedding ceremonies outdoors.
The combination of the garden and main building makes the venue an attractive choice for couples with a growing guest-list, allowing the flexibility to invite up to 300 guests for a reception and 280 for a dinner.
