MEATliquor aims to raise £7m for six new restaurants

MEATailer's branded restaurant chain, MEATliquor is looking to raise £7m of private equity to expand its mainly London-based portfolio with six new sites across the country by 2017.

The planned new sites include those in Bristol, Glasgow and Islington and openings for these are expected in 2015.

The business is also in talks to bring the chain to Dublin and co-founder Scott Collins said he has been approached about bringing MEATliquor to the Middle East and Asia.

The company, which opened its first restaurant in Marylebone in 2011, is valued at around £20m.
