The UK's leading wholesaler, Booker Group is creating up to 200 jobs at a new catering distribution centre due to open in Didcot in June. Booker's newly formed foodservice business, Chef Direct, will operate form the 250,000 sq ft centre which will supply restaurants and catering chains. Booker spokesman Melanie Balmer said the Chef Direct operation was seeking new contracts.
