Casa do Frango open summer terraces across the capital in partnership with Super Bock

Casa do Frango, famous for its cult Piri-Piri Chicken and Portuguese-inspired cuisine, is spreading the sunny spirit of Portugal across the capital, opening summer terraces in Shoreditch, Victoria and Piccadilly in partnership with Super Bock, Portugal’s national beer.

Dotted across the city, the sun-soaked terraces all have a unique atmosphere and identity. Casa Victoria is housing an outdoor Super Bock bar, which will be serving ice-cold Portuguese pours throughout the summer months, the Shoreditch terrace showcases vibrant murals created by renowned East London graffiti artists, End of the Line, and over in Piccadilly, the courtyard terrace provides a leafy alfresco haven, tucked away from bustling Regent Street.

Plus, as a refreshing summer treat, Casa do Frango have launched two off-menu exclusive tequila-based frozen cocktails. The Frozen Piña Colada (£11.50) uses Cazcabel Coconut and Blanco, pineapple juice, coconut cream and lime juice for a creamy tequila twist on a classic, or a zingy Frozen Margarita (£10.50). Or, opt for a Portuguese classic, Port & Tonic (£9.50), the trending drink of the summer, made with Sandeman white port, mint, orange and topped with soda.

Aiming to transport guests to the Algarve, Casa showcases the bold flavours of the country, with an emphasis on dishes cooked over their wood-fired charcoal grill. The menu centres around small and large sharing plates, designed to reflect the convivial Portuguese way of bonding with friends and family over a meal. At the heart of the menu is their signature Piri-Piri Chicken (£14.50), celebrated for its perfectly caramelised skin and depth of flavour that comes from the brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. Plus new large plates, including a succulent 10-day-aged Pork Shoulder (£18) with a tangy, velvety red ‘pimentão’ sauce and Mushroom à Brás (£13), a vegan twist on the beloved Portuguese classic ‘Bacalhau à Brás’.
