St Cross College, a leading graduate college at Oxford University, has appointed Wilson Vale as its new catering partner, ushering in an exciting new era for the College’s food and hospitality offerings.
Celebrated for its academic excellence and storied history, St Cross College has chosen Wilson Vale to oversee its full catering operations from January 2026. This includes the Dining Hall, student café and bar, and the College’s wide-ranging hospitality and events program.
The partnership unites two organisations committed to quality, community, and exceptional care.
Situated on St Giles’ in the heart of Oxford, St Cross College is home to over 650 students and around 150 fellows, fostering a close-knit and welcoming college community.
With students and fellows sharing facilities equally, the College is renowned for its open, inclusive culture that encourages the free exchange of ideas and experiences.
Boasting a strong international presence, more than half of its students come from outside the UK, representing over 70 countries.
Dedicated exclusively to graduate study, St Cross offers a tranquil academic environment while remaining closely connected to the wider life of the University.
B Corp-certified caterer Wilson Vale will bring its renowned expertise in food and service to St Cross College, offering menus focused on fresh, seasonal dishes crafted by skilled chefs.
Wherever possible, core ingredients will be sourced from within a 50-mile radius, alongside active engagement with Oxford-based charities and the broader local community.
The catering team will collaborate closely with College committees and stakeholders to provide an exceptional and responsive service for students, fellows, and staff.
