Soho House appoints a new Chief Operating Officer

A former chef at Soho House has been elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer within the global members' club group.

Tom Collins, who initially joined the company in 2013 as the head chef at the original Soho House on 40 Greek Street in London, has progressed through various senior leadership roles.

His journey began in UK operations and culminated in overseeing the European region's management starting in April 2022. During this tenure, he successfully launched four new Soho Houses within a span of eight months.

As of the beginning of 2023, Tom Collins' responsibilities were further extended to encompass Asia. In this expanded role, he played a key role in orchestrating the successful launch of the inaugural Soho House in Bangkok.

Andrew Carnie, chief executive officer of Soho House & Co, said: 'As operational lead across multiple successful regions, Tom has more than proven his ability during his long tenure with the business.'

Founded by Nick Jones in London in 1995, Soho House has evolved into a global entity, managing a diverse portfolio of more than 50 members' clubs, co-working spaces, and hotels worldwide.

The network includes 13 locations in the UK, spanning London, Brighton, Somerset, Oxfordshire, and Windsor. Additionally, Soho House has expansion plans for the coming year, with anticipated openings in Glasgow and Manchester.
