Plans for Tottenham Hotspur hotel approved.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has secured planning permission to develop a 180-bedroom hotel next to its stadium in time for Euro 2028.

Haringey Council confirmed the stadium will be one of the host venues for the European Football Championship in October last year.

The 30-storey, 16,700 sqm development from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club was approved by Haringey Council in December 2023 and by the Greater London Authority earlier this month.

It is set to include a hotel restaurant, bar, café, swimming pool, gym, terrace and 49 serviced apartments.

Two rounds of consultations with neighbouring properties were undertaken in August and November last year, which received four objections due to concerns over increased noise and stress on emergency services.

The planning sub-committee report stated: 'The successful delivery of the stadium and associated infrastructure for both Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and other major sporting and non-sporting events on site further supports the principle of the provision of an associated hotel on the site and the significant employment opportunities for the local economy that this will bring.'

The property has also agreed to serve as a 'training hotel' for local people to 'grow careers in the hospitality sector with a series of employment and training initiatives with local school and colleges'.
