In July, The Francis hotel in Bath, part of the Sutton Hotel Collection, is set to undergo a £13 million refurbishment.
As part of the refurbishment, all 98 bedrooms and suites will undergo renovation, alongside the addition of a thermal spa featuring three treatment rooms.

New Palé Hall owners to introduce new spa and dining venue
The ownership of Palé Hall Hotel & Restaurant in Llandderfel, Wales, has transitioned to private buyers Anthony and Donna Barney of Baslow Holdings Developments.
For the past decade, Angela and Alan Harper have been the proprietors of the 22-bedroom, five-AA-red-star country house hotel nestled within 50 acres of landscaped gardens.
In February, the couple listed the property for sale with a guide price of £6 million as they prepared for retirement.

Berenjak opens 'little sister' restaurant at Soho Farmhouse
Berenjak, the Persian restaurant backed by JKS Restaurants, has opened a site at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.
Little Berenjak sits in the grounds of the Soho House members' club and serves a similar menu to its London restaurants, which is inspired by the hole-in-the-wall ‘kabab' houses of Tehran.
'As the name suggests, it's a little sister to our London restaurants in all the best ways,' said the Berenjak website.

The Biltmore to become an independent hotel after ending partnership with Hilton
From 1st May, The Biltmore Mayfair will end its partnership with Hilton and and move to operating as an independent hotel.
The 307-room hotel located on Grosvenor Square in London opened in 2019 following a £50m redevelopment of the former Millenium Hotel London Mayfair.
It was the first site in Europe for Hilton's luxury LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, with room rates starting from £550 a night.

Duncan Palmer to step down as MD of the Beaumont hotel
Duncan Palmer will step down from his role as managing director of London's Beaumont hotel upon the completion of its three-year renovation project.

Britannia Hotels announces an increase in pre-tax profit
Britannia Hotels has disclosed an 18% surge in pre-tax profit for the year ending on March 31, 2023.
Despite being voted the UK's worst hotel chain by Which? for the 11th consecutive year, Britannia Hotels managed to increase its profit before tax from £33.4 million in 2022 to £39.4 million in 2023.

Michel Roux to oversee new restaurant at the Crossbasket Castle hotel
