First brunch menu has been announced at Wagamamas
Pan-Asian restaurant chain, Wagamamas, is venturing into brunch for the first time ever.

Starting on July 17, brunch will be available at select locations from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, marking the earliest opening time for the brand. The brunch menu will be offered across 22 key locations in London, as well as the North and South of the UK.

The brunch menu will feature a variety of smaller, larger, and sharing dishes. Highlights include the chicken katsu waffle, which can be enjoyed either sweet or savory.

Lussmanns set to return to London after a 20-year absence
The seafood and grill restaurant group Lussmanns is poised to make a comeback in London after a 20-year absence as part of its expansion plans.

The business was founded by restaurateur Andrei Lussmann in North Kensington in 2002. It later relocated to Hertfordshire in 2004 and subsequently expanded, opening five sites across the county.

Now, Lussmanns has acquired the former Côte site on Highgate High Street, which accommodates 130 covers. The restaurant is set to reopen in August, marking Lussmanns' return to London after a two-decade absence.

Azzurri to introduce Dave’s Hot Chicken to the UK with plans for 60 locations
The Azzurri Group has signed an agreement with the American chicken brand Dave's Hot Chicken to open 60 locations across the UK, with the first one scheduled to launch in London early next year.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded in 2017 by three childhood friends, Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy Rubenyan, in a carpark in East Hollywood.

The brand is renowned for its spiced-to-order chicken, offering seven levels of spice ranging from No Spice to Reaper, the latter requiring a signed waiver from guests.

The Fat Duck Group reveals loss of £1.4 m
The parent company of Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck restaurant in Bray has reported a pre-tax loss of £1.4 million due to “tough economic headwinds”.

In documents submitted to Companies House for the year ending 28th May 2023, SL6 Ltd, the company behind the three Michelin-starred Fat Duck and the Michelin-starred Hinds Head pub in Bray, reported a slight decrease in turnover from £11.5 million in 2022 to £9.5 million in 2023.

SL6 Ltd had incurred a pre-tax loss for two consecutive years, amounting to £1 million between 1st June 2020 and 30th May 2021.

Di Maggio's Restaurant Group has completed the acquisition of Glasgow's two Paesano restaurants along with Sugo on Mitchell Street. The group has revealed intentions to expand both brands following the acquisition.

Restaurateur Paul Stevenson has sold the pizza and pasta restaurants to Mario Gizzi and Tony Conetta. Paesano, known for its Neapolitan pizza, first opened on Miller Street in 2015 and expanded to Great Western Road in 2017.

Honest Burgers aims to quadruple its number of restaurants by the year 2030
