Jamie’s Italian restaurant chain has been bailed out by parent company, Jamie Oliver Group, after suffering cashflow problems, according to The Times.
Alix Partners has been hired to draw up a turnaround plan for the Jamie’s Italian 60-strong subsidiary.
The chain has received a short-term loan from the Jamie Oliver Group after a further deterioration in trading, following a loss of £9.9m last year.
The company closed six Jamie's Italian restaurants in January which resulted in the loss of around 120 jobs.
