British Land, joint owner of Meadowhall in Sheffield, has announced that Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) has now opened a 2,500 sq ft restaurant, one of the brand’s largest sites, at the newly refurbished centre.
Located on the upper level of the Oasis Dining Quarter alongside leading brands including Giraffe, TGI Fridays and Carluccio’s, it will cater for 100 covers and create 30 jobs. The interior features steel and leather booths with glass tops, which gives the restaurant an industrial feel resonating with the city’s industrial past.

“Around 64% of our shoppers choose to have something to eat or drink when they visit and so maintaining an exciting and high quality leisure offer is of key importance.

Formed in 2001, GBK currently operates just over 90 restaurants.
