Fentimans launches two new tonics to meet increased demand

Fentimans, the botanically brewed drinks company, is to launch two new flavoured tonics to bolster its award-winning range of natural mixers.

With the premiumisation of the mixer category showing no sign of slowing, Fentimans is rolling out its new Pink Rhubarb and Oriental Yuzu Tonic, to capitalise on the growing popularity of consumers seeking flavoured tonics to upgrade the classic G&T.

In recent years, rhubarb has surged in popularity, as a standalone ingredient and as a flavour in premium spirits, especially gin. The new Fentimans Rhubarb Tonic combines the tangy taste of rhubarb with candied undertones, reminiscent of vintage sweets. When mixed with London Dry Gin, the combination is both refreshing and bursting with flavour.

With a growing number of people seeking to discover new and different flavours, Yuzu Tonic has been developed to deliver an innovative, yet refreshing mixer, that is perfect for pairing with contemporary and new wave gins.

Fentimans Marketing Director, Andrew Jackson, explained, “Since the launch of our pioneering Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water, we are seeing an increasing number of consumers experimenting with different flavour combinations. The roll out of rhubarb and yuzu flavoured tonic provides this growing audience with increased flavour options; that can make every day classic spirits taste even better.

Oriental Yuzu and Pink Rhubarb Tonic Water will be launched in 125m, 200ml and 500ml size formats. The launch will be supported by an outdoor, experiential and digital marketing campaign.
