Developer Bricks Capital has received the final green light required to progress with a new hotel overlooking the Grand Prix Circuit starting grid at Silverstone.
Bricks Capital, in collaboration with Hilton and the British Racing Drivers Club, will deliver this key piece of the future racetrack infrastructure.
The hotel, which will offer 197 rooms, is set to open in time for the 2020 British Grand Prix next summer.
The venue will provide racegoers and visitors with an entirely new way to experience and enjoy the events at Silverstone. Two blocks of the hotel will be on a raised podium that enables spectator sightlines of the international pit straight.
The five-storey hotel provides access, via a footbridge, to the 3,000-capacity, 12,500 sqm Silverstone Wing Conference Centre, and a restaurant and coffee shop.
