Brunning & Price debuts in Manchester with largest pub yet

The Restaurant Group-owned Brunning & Price is due to launch its largest site to date with the opening of the 370-cover pub, The Wharf, in Manchester. The Castlefield property has been fully refurbished and refitted and will trade over two-and-a-half floors and a large outside area. The pub will employ 80 people when it opens next Tuesday 3 July.

There are currently 30 pubs in the group's portfolio, mostly in Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire and Staffordshire. The chain is expanding aggressively and work is ongoing ahead of opening in St Martin's Lodge overlooking the Roodee racecourse in Chester and at a further site near Telford.
