The Gate Restaurants launches ultimate meat-free Xmas menu

London's plant-based pioneer brand, The Gate Restaurants is celebrating the party season in style, with the ultimate meat-free menu of merriment.

Located across three sites in the heart of London - Marylebone, St John’s Wood and Hammersmith (The Gate Islington is currently closed for refurbishment), The Gate has been producing delicious, seasonal and innovative plant-based food for more than 30 years.

The £28 set menu includes:
> Three Onion Tart shallots, leeks and caramelised red onions in rich custard, served with cranberry & rosemary sauce;
> Christmas Rotolo filled with mushroom duxelles, served with cep reduction sauce, parsnip purée and maple roasted carrots;
> Baileys Cheesecake with dark chocolate sauce to finish.

This decadent feast is available from now until 24 December, for lunch or dinner.

The Gate Restaurants, which launched in 1989 in Hammersmith and this first site is tucked away from the hustle and bustle in a former artist’s studio, with double height ceilings and a Secret Garden.

The St John’s Wood restaurant, conveniently located close to the High Street, is spread over two floors and offers guests an elegant, light and airy space to relax and dine.

The Marylebone venue, located on the fashionable Seymour Place minutes from Oxford Street, features a buzzy bar, a minimalist, open dining room and outside space for dining.

All venues are available for private hire and the spaces can be tailored to every festivity.
