Greene King launches free financial fitness workshops for licensees

Greene King Pub Partners, the leased, tenanted and franchise division of Greene King, has launched free financial fitness workshops for its leased and tenanted licensees.

The free workshops have been organised against the backdrop of rising costs and energy bills to help licensees reduce financial risk in their businesses and create a stable foundation for growth.

In the free workshops, Greene King Pub Partners licensees will learn practical measures they can take to reduce waste and control their costs.

They will also learn ways they can increase their turnover, as well as protect and improve their margins. On top of this, the training enables the delegates to calculate the impact that recent increases in costs will have on their businesses and set themselves meaningful financial targets that will help them manage and reduce the risk they face.

Curated and organised by the Greene King Pub Partners Learning & Development team, the free financial fitness workshops will take place across September and October.

The workshops will take place in person in Pub Partners pubs across England and Scotland, so all Greene King Pub Partners leased and tenanted licensees can attend.

Wayne Shurvinton, Managing Director for Greene King Pub Partners, said:
“Through our Learning and Development team, we have created and launched these free workshops for our Partners to equip them with all the tools they need to reduce financial risk and create a stable foundation from which their businesses can grow.

“Good financial fitness is imperative for any pub business, but with rising costs across the board, it is now more important than ever we are supporting our Partners like this.”
