Blacklock is to open a second chop and cocktail venue, Blacklock in the City, in London EC3.
Situated in the basement of a Grade II-listed property, the 100-cover site is set to open on 20 March.
In 2015, the first Blacklock opened in Soho in 2015, led by Gordon Ker, formerly at Hawksmoor Knightsbridge, working with Cornish butcher, Philip Warren, who produces award-winning meat.
The simple meaty menu will be offered at the new City branch, as well as some new cuts and new starters. Diners can expect sixth rib-eye, aged rump cap, maple bacon chop and smoked, roasted chicken in-house sauce with Yorkshire pancakes.
The stand-alone cocktail bar will offer a larger menu than its sister site, some of which customers will be able to order from a table-side cocktail trolley. There will also be wine on tap.
Blacklock in the City will be open for lunch and dinner every day and will be accepting reservations to shorten the queues.
