Vapiano Tower Bridge to open end of month

Vapiano has confirmed its new Tower Bridge restaurant will open on Friday 26 October at the new One Tower Bridge development - a new dining destination located next to the iconic London landmark.

Spacious, with 361 covers and split over two floors, Vapiano Tower Bridge will feature a stand-alone bar with Moretti and offer splendid views of the Thames, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. 100-year-old olive trees will feature in the new restaurant, with live herb pots on every table so guests can freshly season their meals to taste.

Every dish at Vapiano is freshly cooked and customisable to suit individual tastes and specific dietary requirements, with main courses starting from £6.99 for fresh pasta dishes, pizzas, homemade lasagne, risotto or a selection of salads.

The fresh pizza dough and pastas are handmade on site by Vapiano’s expert chefs. There are 10 pasta shapes on offer including penne, campanelle and tagliatelle, with spaghetti and fusilli spelt options also available, making up 20 different dish options on the menu.

Everything from sauces to dressings, dolci and dough are made from scratch on site in every single Vapiano, every single day.

The new site is part of the new One Tower Bridge development and will sit alongside a vibrant range of restaurants and cultural attractions on the banks of the Thames, a stone’s throw from London Bridge station; providing the perfect location for visitors and locals alike looking for a freshly cooked, Italian-inspired, made-to-order menu.

The new site will offer Vapiano’s unique dining concept: using a tech-savvy card payment system whereby diners ‘tap in’ for each item they order using their own individual Vapiano card and pay when leaving the restaurant, avoiding the hassle of splitting the bill with friends. Guests simply order directly with a Vapiano chef and watch as they prepare their dish to order.

With its lively atmosphere and interactive dining experience, Vapiano is perfect for group dining with work colleagues or friends and is already hugely popular with ‘Generation Z’ who are looking for quality food and service, in a relaxed, casual setting.

Vapiano’s is one of London’s busiest restaurant groups, serving more than 35,000 customers each week across its London sites, and represents the capital’s varied and diverse diner demographic who are looking for a fresh, delicious, tailor-made dining experience.

The new Tower Bridge restaurant is the first in a trio of new openings confirmed by the group, with further Vapiano sites confirmed for Tottenham Court Road (within the new Centre Point development) and Canary Wharf in early 2019.
