Benugo opening two new London cafes this month

Benugo, the award-winning restaurant, café and catering company, is opening two new cafes in London this month, in Mayfair’s Hanover Street and within 62 Buckingham Gate- Victoria’s new mixed-use development.

The first to open is a 70-cover venue on the former Headmasters site in Hanover Street, which officially opened today, followed shortly after by a 30-cover café in the 62 Buckingham Gate shopping and dining development in mid-December.

It is believed that both the new venues will operate under Benugo’s café format, which it hoped to have a portfolio of 15 sites by the end of 2016.

Both new venues will be open daily from 7am until 6pm for sandwiches, salads, wraps and freshly baked deli items, of which customers can choose to eat in or take away. All ingredients will be sourced from local and British regional suppliers who Benugo has longstanding relationships with.

Benugo operates 11 high street delis across London, including Cannon Street, Covent Garden, Curzon Street, Great Portland Street, Luton Aiport, St Pancras International, Waterloo Station, Westfield White City, and the new additions in Mayfair and Victoria.

Earlier this month, the comapny announced it is to re-open the Great Court Restaurant at The British Museum next January following a three-month refurbishment. It also recently opened a restaurant in Soho in partnership with charity House of St Barnabas and secured a £20m deal in September to run restaurants, cafes and kiosks at Regent's Park.

Additionally, Benugo runs restaurants and cafes at the V&A, the Natural History Museum, Ashmolean and Edinburgh Castle
