Roadside dining chain Little Chef, is reportedly preparing to close 70 restaurants and therefore cutting around 600 staff. This meaning more than 40% of the groups outlet’s would be affected.
The news follows after last year the company made plans to invest £30 in refurbishing its sites and then opening a further 55 sites over the next five years.
Little chef entered administration in 2007 but was soon rescued by RCapital, which kept on 193 of the 235 restaurants.
