Steakhouse chain Viva Brazil opens third site

Brazilian style steakhouse chain Viva Brazil is celebrating its expansion with the opening of a new restaurant in Cardiff. Creating around 30 jobs, the Cardiff site joins Viva Brazils existing sites in Liverpool and Glasgow.

The opening has become possible after the business secured a £375,000 funding deal from Santander Corporate Banking, backed by the government’s Enterprise Finance Guarantee. The company now plan to develop the brand further and open seven further restaurants around the UK.

Viva Brazil is a traditional Brazilian-style restaurant operating around the “Churrascaria” ethos of Brazilian steak cooked using traditional barbecue methods and carved at the table by Passadors (meat waiters).
