Glendola reports yearly profit boost


Privately owned bar, club and restaurant company, Glendola Leisure has announced an increase in turnover and pre-tax profit in the year to 30 March 2013.

The group's turnover was £28,530,000 compared to £28,511,000 in the previous 12 months. Pre-tax profit rose to £2,464,000, up from £1.894,000 the year before, with operating profit also rising by 19.8% to £2,722,000.

Glendola operates brands such as Waxy O Connor’s and Rainforest Café. It purchased two Enterprise Inns leasehold sites in London earlier year, The Crown & Anchor and The Barlow Mow, taking its estate to 19 sites.
