Three hotels owned by Daish's Group on the market for sale

Daish's Group has listed 25% of its portfolio for sale, with a collective guide price of £6.65 million.

The assets encompass the freehold of Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay, the freehold of County Hotel in Kendal, and the freehold of Daish's Blackpool. These properties are open for individual purchase or as a bundled trio.

The Barrowfield Hotel is a coastal property boasting 80 rooms, a 170-cover restaurant, a ballroom accommodating 130 people, and additional amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and games room. The guide price for this site, which spans 0.6 acres, is set at £2.85 million.

The County Hotel, situated near the Lake District National Park, is an 18th-century building that has undergone recent refurbishment. Featuring 41 rooms, a 75-cover restaurant, a coffee shop, and a bar, the hotel is currently valued at £1.85 million.

Lastly, Daish's Blackpool, an end terrace coastal property, offers 72 rooms, a 130-cover restaurant, a coffee shop, and an entertainment room. The guide price for this hotel is set at £1.95 million.

Tom Cunningham, director of hotel capital markets at Savills, which is acting on behalf of the seller, said: 'We are pleased to have been appointed to sell a number of assets across the UK for our client. All three hotels sit in strong trading locations and offer an incoming purchaser excellent potential to capitalise on the sustained consumer demand for staycations.'

George Brown, managing director of Daish's, added: 'While we will be sad to see such great assets go, and it is with a heavy heart that we put these on the market, we will continue to expand the Daish's portfolio, looking for hotels that we feel offer a better fit for our customers.'

Daish's Group originated with the acquisition of Daish's Hotel on the Isle of Wight in 1979. Since then, it has expanded to encompass 12 hotels located in 10 resort destinations across the UK.
