Down Hall Country House Hotel in Hertfordshire is to plough £6m into refurbishments and a new spa at its site near Bishop's Stortford by summer 2016.
The new Eden Spa will include four treatment rooms, a hydroptherapy pool, sauna and gym.
The bedrooms will undergo redecoration, and improvements will be made to the kitchen to improve the efficiency of service to the hotel’s one-AA-rosette Grill Room restaurant.
