New River Retail, through NJL Consulting, has secured full planning permission for two drive-through eateries at Waterfront Retail Park in Barry, South Wales.
The consent will allow Costa and Burger King to occupy the new units. The units will provide complementary uses to the existing retail units which are occupied by Halfords, Pets at Home, Argos, and Poundstretcher, alongside a KFC Drive Thru unit.
Waterfront Retail Park forms one of thirteen sites purchased by NewRiver Retail as part of the Project Ramsay portfolio.
Purchased from Morrisons in Summer 2015, the thirteen sites include existing retail parks and development opportunity sites across England, Scotland and Wales.
Since purchasing the sites, as NewRiver Retail seeks to increase the value of the portfolio, NJL has prepared a number of planning applications on our client’s behalf.
