Ruya to open UK restaurant at Grosvenor House Hotel

Multi award-winning, Middle Eastern fine dining restaurant, Ruya, at Grosvenor House hotel in Dubai, is set to launch in the UK at Mayfair's five star Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane this spring.

The kitchen at Ruya London will be led by Executive Chef Colin Clague, who will be bringing some of Anatolian's (the region) finest traditional food, using ethically sourced produce, which is given a modern, sophisticated twist.

The menu will include dishes such as Midye Dolma - rice-stuffed mussels with breadcrumbs & herbs, Icli Köfte - fried bulgur stuffed with roasted duck & barberries, and Kuymak - cornmeal & cheese fondue, wild mushrooms & truffle.

Diners can also expect Clay Pot Lamb Shank with baby onions & homemade red and pepper paste, and Rangers Valley Day Grain Fed Beef 300g with asparagus & Antep pistachio butter.

Ruya, which is the Turkish name for 'dream', is the being brought to the UK by d.ream Group (Dogus Restaurant Entertainment and Management), which began its operations in April 2012.
