Rüya launches Turkish picnic baskets


Just in time for summer, Rüya, the Anatolian restaurant, bar and lounge located nearby Hyde Park in Mayfair, London, will be launching an exclusive picnic basket filled with a selection of Turkish dishes and Champagne.

Curated by Chef Patron Colin Clague, they will be available for pick up and take away from Thursday 10 June.

Rüya’s picnic in the park comes complete with a luxury statement wicker basket containing ceramic plates, stainless steel cutlery and glasses, for guests to pre-order for collection from the restaurant every Thursday to Sunday, just in time for weekend festivities.

The Rüya picnic basket will include a range of delights to create an extra special day in the surrounding London parks or to enjoy at home in the garden.

Available for two people, the basket includes a selection of Turkish cheeses such as Eski Kasar, Feta and Labne Toplari, a selection of cold meats including Black Pepper Crusted Pastrami and Slow Cooked Short Rib.

There is also Turkish Tea & Herbs marinated Olives; traditional Turkish Tirnak Pide bread and a delicious sesame crusted Simit Bread; Muhammara spread - Roasted red pepper, tomato and walnut; Isli Patlican Puree - Smoked aubergine puree with walnuts; Turkish Spoon Salad with chopped vegetables and pomegranate dressing; Mixed Pickles.

Also included is a selection of four sweet Turkish Delights and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

There will also be an option to double up on dishes, available for up to four people, which will also include mini salt and pepper shakers and a wine opener.
