SushiDog to open two new outlets this spring ahead of further expansion

Quick service sushi roll restaurant, SushiDog is announcing plans for a major expansion with two new sites confirmed to open this spring.

SushiDog Soho will launch at 54 Brewer Street on 27 April and will be open Monday - Sunday. It will be followed by a second site at 166-170 Bishopsgate on 25 May.

Both sites will replicate the existing grab & go format which allows customers to personalise their order, or choose from the range of signature rolls, bowls and salads. Freshness is key with all dishes prepared to order.

Both new sites will also offer delivery via Deliveroo, UberEats and JustEat, with catering for offices provided by Feedr and JustEat for Business.

As well as classic menu items including SushiDog’s cult Japanese Tater Tots, new menu items will also make their debut. Customers can expect to see Pulled Yakitori Chicken join the range of protein options, which already features delicious choices including Salmon, Chicken Katsu and plant-based Teriyaki This Isn’t Chicken. A Peanut Sauce will join the range of dressings.

For something sweet, SushiDog is partnering with Ai No Mochi who specialise in handmade artisanal mochi. New flavour additions will include Nutella & Lotus, Vanilla Cheesecake and a plant-based Chocolate Ganache.

As well as the confirmed new central London sites, SushiDog is announcing plans for further expansion and looking forward to opening more SushiDog sites.

They plan to confirm two further London locations in late 2022 and a further three in 2023, with a view to securing locations outside of London and, eventually, outside the UK further down the line.

The brand, founded by childhood friends Greg Ilsen and Nick Goldstein, currently has two sites, one on Covent Garden’s Tower Street and one located within Westfield White City.

Co-founder Greg Ilsen commented, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be opening two new SushiDog branches this spring. It was a massive achievement for us to secure sites on Brewer St and in Bishopsgate, two really buzzing London locations.

'We know from experience that when people try SushiDog for the first time, they instantly love it so…the chance to get our rolls into more hands is a really exciting prospect.”

The SushiDog ethos is simple – high quality, freshly prepared ingredients which can be enjoyed as a sushi roll, rice bowl or Asian slaw salad.

The accessible and nutritious lunch option centres customisation by offering a ‘build your own’ option across rolls, bowls and salads. Large burrito-style sushi rolls are a trendy option in Australia while in the UK, SushiDog is leading the way for the fun-filled fusion food.

With the new sites, SushiDog is aiming to bring their dishes to even more hungry Londoners and will be celebrating the launch of the Brewer St site with a soft launch offer of 50% off all orders for the first week.

In addition to this, the first 100 customers to the Brewer St site on opening day will receive a signature roll or bowl of their choice completely free.

SushiDog is a proud partner of Teenage Cancer Trust and donates 50p from each online and in-store sale of its HAND2HOLD roll to the charity. The new sites offer an opportunity to expand on this charitable partnership.
