SushiDog set to open 4th site this month

Following the opening of their third site in Soho in May, quick service sushi roll restaurant SushiDog has announced the impending opening of their fourth site in Bishopsgate this month.

The brand, founded by childhood friends Greg Ilsen and Nick Goldstein, already had two sites on Covent Garden’s Tower Street and another within Westfield White City before they opened Brewer Street, Soho.

Earlier this year, the duo behind the fun-filled SushiDog concept confirmed plans to open two new sites. The Brewer St, Soho location opened on 10th May, and will be followed by the new City spot in a few weeks time.

The site will follow the existing grab & go format which allows customers to personalise their order, or choose from the range of signature rolls, bowls and salads. Freshness is key with all dishes prepared to order. The site in Bishopsgate will also offer delivery via Deliveroo and UberEats, as well as catering for offices provided by Feedr and JustEat for Business.

As part of the expanding brand, SushiDog is aiming to bring their dishes to even more hungry Londoners and will be celebrating the opening of Bishopsgate with a soft launch offer of 50% off all rolls, bowls and salads for the first three days. In addition to this, the first 100 customers to the Bishopsgate site on opening day will receive a signature roll, bowl or salad of their choice completely free!

As well as classic menu items including SushiDog’s cult Japanese Tater Tots, new items which debuted at Brewer Street will also be joining the Bishopsgate menu. Customers can expect to see the newest protein option, Pulled Yakitori Chicken alongside the original delicious choices including Salmon, Chicken Katsu and plant-based Teriyaki THIS Isn’t Chicken.

A Peanut Sauce has also joined the range of dressings. For something sweet, SushiDog has partnered with Ai No Mochi who specialise in handmade artisanal mochi. Flavours include Nutella & Lotus, Vanilla Cheesecake and a plant-based Chocolate Ganache.

Co-founder Greg commented, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be opening another SushiDog store following the Brewer Street launch in May. It was a massive achievement for us to secure both sites in such buzzing London locations and we can’t wait to open the doors to Bishopsgate.

'We know from experience that when people try SushiDog for the first time they instantly love it, so getting our name out there and our rolls into more hands is a really exciting prospect.”

The SushiDog ethos is simple – high quality, freshly prepared ingredients which can be enjoyed as a sushi roll, rice bowl or Asian slaw salad. The accessible and nutritious lunch offering centres customisation by offering a ‘build your own’ option across rolls, bowls and salads. Large burrito-style sushi rolls are a trendy option in Australia while in the UK, SushiDog is leading the way for the quirky fusion food.

SushiDog is a proud partner of Teenage Cancer Trust and donates 50p from each online and in-store sale of their ‘HAND2HOLD’ roll to the charity. Both new sites offer an opportunity to expand on this charitable partnership.

SushiDog Bishopsgate will launch at 166-170 Bishopsgate on 25 July and will be open Monday - Sunday.
