Wetherspoon to reopen Hull pub with 22 new bedrooms

JD Wetherspoon is set to reopen a Hull city centre pub next Friday, which has transformed, offering 22 bedrooms, and creating 30 new jobs.

Following the £2.56m refit and revamp, The Admiral of the Humber will reopen with the bedrooms on the first, second and third floors of the building, with the hotel reception on the first floor.

The pub itself has been redecorated and a first floor roof terrace beer garden has been added. The kitchen has also been upgraded and enlarged.

The hotel rooms can accommodate a mixture of double, twin and family occupancy. There is also one accessible room suitable for people with disabilities.

Each of the rooms features an ensuite bathroom, tea- and coffee-making facilities, hair dryer, flat-screen television with Freeview TV and unlimited free wi-fi, as well as digital air-conditioning and temperature control.

Wetherspoons opened its first hotel in 1998, launching The Shrewsbury Hotel in Shrewsbury. The pub operator now has 40 hotels across the UK, which offer 900 rooms. Prices starting from around £40 a night.
