Fetch exceeds £1m target in second round of funding

Fetch, the pioneering mobile order and pay solution for restaurants, bars, hotels, stadiums and other venues, has exceeded the £1m target in a second round of funding on Seedrs.

The firm will use the investment to help towards their product development, operations, and sales and marketing. They have already successfully overfunded their goal, within an hours going live this morning.

Since its inception in 2020, Fetch has quickly become one of the leading on-premise technology solutions for mobile ordering, payment and guest location services. With the hospitality industry facing enormous setbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic, the brand is helping F&B businesses thrive in an ever-changing and unpredictable environment, making the ‘order from table’ process as easy as possible for consumers.

There has been a huge appetite already for Fetch, having secured over 600% of their target in the first seed round of funding. The funds enabled them to fast track their growth and further develop features.

In 2021 (March and April), the group recorded over 80,000 registered users, and an abundance of over 100 live venues – with those numbers continuing to increase month by month. It’s an exciting time to invest in the company having recently revamped its digital offering with a number of ground-breaking features.

Helping to improve the guest experience in a safe and secure manner, Fetch 2.0 includes Digital Tipping, making it easier for customers to reward staff for great service as well as Open a Tab - allowing guests to open a digital tab, set a limit, share the tab and keep it open until it’s time to automatically settle as you get up and walk away.

Other additions include:
> Apple’s App Clips, a hospitality first from Fetch that has removed the greatest barrier in mobile ordering today by allowing customers to start ordering in seconds, no app necessary

> Click and Collect (up to 24-hour advanced ordering), providing a contact-free, quick and easy way to order food and drinks to collect at a time that suits customers
Instant Feedback, bettering staff’s service by collecting data from customers in an engaging, cost effective and non-intrusive way.

Fetch has already projected an exciting growth, with 7,500 live venues predicted to be using the order and payment solution by 2023, the digital face of the hospitality industry is changing – for the better.

CEO Jason Jefferys said, ‘This is a huge step in Fetch’s journey but even bigger for the food and beverage industry. There is so much we want and can do to make everyone’s lives easier, more efficient, profitable and this funding will enable us to make Fetch even better.

'I truly believe we are changing the future of eating and drinking out, and the technology we’ve developed so far is only the tip of the iceberg of what we can do.’

With the pub, restaurant and hotel experience constantly adapting to the new normal, it’s vital that other businesses embrace today's technology and follow suit, rather than fall behind. With its pioneering technology and user-friendly interface, no one is revolutionising things quite like Fetch, making it an exciting prospect for future investment.
